At the forum, Chairman Ren Hongbin, as one of the seven enterprise representatives, made a keynote speech titled "Embracing the Second Spring of Large Enterprise Development".

In his speech, Chairman Ren Hongbin shared his opinions on how Chinese enterprises should face the pressure and pain brought by transformation and upgrading and how to become powerful and be a world-class enterprise with international competitiveness.

Chairman Ren Hongbin believed that the spring for development of large enterprises would surely come. He pointed out that Chinese economy and large enterprises are still in an important period of strategic opportunities, and the growth speed may be adjusted. However, with quality and efficient improvement, transformation, and upgrading, large enterprises still have tremendous space for development. A series of important decisions on comprehensively deepening reform made by the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee have sent a powerful message: unleash enterprises and make the market work, which creates a historical opportunity for Chinese enterprises to be larger, stronger, and better.

Chairman Ren Hongbin believed that the development of large enterprises depends on the reforming consciousness. He pointed out that if a large enterprise wants to develop well and far, it must comply with market rules, and the most essentially, it must have strong reforming spirit and innovation consciousness, be able to conform to changes in objective situations, and be able to continuously promote reform and innovation. To stand higher and see further, large enterprises should grasp the general idea of China's comprehensively deepening reform and lead and promote development of the entire industry.
